Pink And Black ..jewelry?
my three bridesmaids are going to wear black for my evening wedding in october.
my wedding colors are black and white (or ivory..dont know yet because my dress was ordered in ivory but i dont know how ivory it is) with an accent of mainly light pink.
with their dresses, i really want them to wear a white (or ivory) or light pink sash. but, it seems like all the dresses i look at, they already have some type of rouching or sewn-in black sash in the middle of the dress. and all the ones that are plain in the middle are these ugly ’sheaths’.
i want them to carry light pink gerber daisies. would a white or ivory sash look good w/ that or would a light pink sash look better?
so if the sash thing doesnt work out i figured i needed an alternative to add some color to all that black.
how about his?? having them wear light pink pearl necklaces and earrings or maybe light pink shoes?? any suggestions?

sounds like all your ideas would work. white/ivory or pink would work for a sash. the light pink necklaces sound lovely. the only thing that doesn’t sound very good is the light pink shoes- really when will they ever wera theses again? also it’s pretty hard to find pink shoes that don’t look cheesy. Black shoes are fine just accent with pink jewelery.
If you need a pop of color and the sash doesn’t work out, go with the shoes, definitely! There’s nothing I love more than an unexpected shoe!
The pearls are also a great idea. I’m not usually for this idea because I think that BM gifts should be more about the BMs themselves, but the pearls would make a good gift for them and can dress up or down. You could also get them small gift cards to a favorite store as a second “thank you” in addition to the pearls.
Light pink shoes and pearls … go for it! It sounds lovely. Excellent color choices.
My junior bridesmaid’s dress has a white sash attached to it. However, the woman at the store where we bought it showed me how to wrap sash with the existing one.. she it’s blue and white. It looks cute. My color is Periwinkle and we couldn’t find a dress which was appropriate for her so she’s going to wear white like the flower girls… Colored jewels sound great.
